WHAT TO ENGRAVE?

I am frequently asked how most Y-Indian Braves and Princesses have their Y-Indian Program Medallions engraved. The answer really is that there is no set rule - whatever suits you and your little Brave or Princess is best. Listed below are some suggestions for engraving your Y-Indian Program Medallions - all taken from orders we received during the past few years.

The charge for engaving your medallion is $2.75. You can have up to 46 letters, but if you keep it to 32 to 36 it will look best. When you exceed 32 the computer begins to squeeze the letters to make them all fit in the alloted space. By the time you get to 46 characters the letters are tall and skinny and beginning to get hard to read.

When Little Eagle and I conceived the idea for the medallion, we thought that having both parent and child's names on the medallion would make the keepsake more treasured in years to come - the whole idea behind the project - and most of our orders are engraved that way today.
